Reeds Quilt
Quilt wall hanging made from repurposed cotton and linen, including cotton hand dyed with avocado and dahlia flowers. The fabric has been machine pieced and hand quilted with cotton thread. The brass sheet I have included within the machine piecing to catch the light.
Inspired by the early light among the reeds at Ham Nature Reserve when the light hits the water and moves amongst the reeds.
Designed to be hung from a wooden pole, which I have cut to size and is included with the quilt.
