I work with metal and fabric to create kinetic mixed-metal mobiles and textile pieces that celebrate movement, light, and nature. Much of my work is made to commission for private residences, hotels, and boutiques, resulting in a variety of styles and scales.
Birds are a recurring theme in my practice. Their grace, fragility, and sense of freedom inspire the forms and motion of my mobiles. I use etching and patination to create detail and colour, giving each piece its own texture and character.
In my textile work, I use hand-painted and naturally dyed fabrics—always repurposed or remnant materials—to explore softness and surface in contrast to the metal elements I incorporate. The combination of materials allows light to play across the work, catching reflections like water or the shimmer of autumn leaves.
Ultimately, my practice is rooted in a deep appreciation for the outdoors—the shifting light, the subtle colours, and the quiet movement of nature—and a desire to translate that sense of life and beauty into sculptural form.
